Journalism historians from across Mexico visited SFSU March 21 and 22, 2014, to present their research and become better acquainted with archival resources in the Bay Area. The Latin American Studies minor hosted a reception for them and other scholars attending the Annual Iberoamerican Literary, Politcal and Artistic Colloquium to meet members of the campus community. The colloquium is a project of the Spanish-language graduate program and a schedule of presentations is available by clicking here.
On March 21, the scholars visited the Sutro Library on campus, and spent the afternoon at the Bancroft Library at UC Berkeley. Anyone wishing to learn more their visit should contact Juanita Darling at email@example.com.
